The Joy of Breathing method was originally created for stressed-out executives. It is designed to be accessible to everyone -- even if you have no yoga or meditation background. If you’re currently “out of shape,” this is an excellent entry for getting back in touch with your body.
You just want to relax. You want to feel better, now.
Here’s how it works:
You’ll learn, through studying your own breathing, how to better “tune in” to what’s happening inside. Then you’ll discover how connecting with your breath can affect your energy. This is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of your mind-body connection.
We’ll start with a brief overview of anatomy and discuss how your breathing works.
Together, we’ll practice yoga breathing techniques, such as Natural Breath and Durgha Breath. You don’t need any yoga or meditation experience to be able to do these simple breaths.
We’ll then progress to a guided “vacation meditation,” and you’ll learn how to enter a light, relaxing meditative state.*
If you wish, you can learn advanced yogic breathing techniques, especially for controlling moods and physical balancing. But the easy basics are really all you need to start enjoying and using the Joy of Breathing method right away.
